DO I NEED THEM?

If you’re looking to add a higher perceived value, extra branding & a professional finish to your products then you may want to consider hem tags.

WHATS THE MINIMUM ORDER?

Minimum order for hem tags is 500pcs, but we can store any left over tags for future orders. The minimum order for hem tag attachment is 50pcs, which can be split over a range of garments.

HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?

Labels cost between 6p & 25p each depending on quantity. Sewing on your tags costs between 67p & £1 depending on quantity.

WHERE DO CUSTOMERS NORMALLY APPLY HEM TAGS?

Here are some frequent requests we receive for hem tag placement

- Bottom left/right hem

- Sleeve

- Beanie cuff

- Hoodie pocket

WHAT SIZE SHOULD MY TAGS BE?

The size of your tag mainly comes down to personal preference & what suits your design. Our standard template is based on 25mm x 50mm (25mm when folded).

HOW DETAILED CAN MY DESIGN BE?

Since these are woven there are limitations to how fine your design can be. As a rule of thumb we recommend lines to be no thinner than 1pt / 0.5mm.

WHAT ARTWORK LIMITATIONS ARE THERE?

Besides the above, the following won’t work as a woven tag:

- Photographs

- Gradients

- Designs with more than 4 colours

- Complex, detailed designs

- Fine script font
